MY ONE REGRET: NOT HIRING A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER!

I thought it was silly, and that we would never watch the video. I’m not super sentimental so imagining us sitting down to watch our wedding video in 50 years just… blech. Tears and, “Oh, remember…?” did not appeal to me. So why pay to have it made?

The main reason I regret not hiring a wedding videographer? I didn’t get to see how everything went at the ceremony before I got down the aisle! I didn’t get to see the smiles of everyone as our different groups walked down.

Maybe you are planning your wedding thinking, “I don’t need someone to film the ceremony!” Maybe you are going to ask one of your friends or a member of your family. But really consider it before you totally rule it out. Not having your wedding video done by a professional wedding videographer, may become a regret. Unfortunately, You won’t be able  go back and fix it.

It’s the biggest honor documenting a wedding. Each and every wedding we photograph makes us cherish what we do as Long Island Wedding Photographers. We walk away feeling blessed to have documented love on the first day of forever.

We go to weddings every weekend

Weddings in themselves are weird experiences. We get to see the glue that holds the fantasy together — yes, sometimes the literal glue on a broken heel or lopsided wedding cake — and the sweat that goes into making it look effortless. And this is our JOB.

We dream about other people’s weddings

The faces of our couples float through our dreams. We obsess over the details: the wording, the design, the flowers, going over and over it in the effort to get everything perfect. And the clincher: we wake up at 3am with the Most Awesome Idea Ever — for someone else’s wedding.

We still cry at weddings. Seriously.

Weddings are sentimental. No matter how many times we see the bride dance with her father, it still gets us. Even on Wedding Number 999 we still get goosebumps when the groom can’t say his vows because he’s all choked up. It doesn’t get old for us. We love weddings!

We’re in love with love. We can't stop it!

We believe in love so much so that we make it our living to celebrate it. We crave those moments of intense devotion, and devise new and unusual ways to help our clients express it. There has never been a job where so much LOVE comes at you. We love what we do!
